Job Description

The role of an Executive Assistant (EA) to the General Counsel/Administrator, Governance is a critical one that requires exceptional administrative skills and experience in supporting senior executives. The EA will be responsible for providing executive-level support to the General Counsel, including diary management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks.

This position is based in Canberra and involves working closely with the Governance and Board Services team to deliver services in support of CSC's Board. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate governance principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Effective diary management: organizing meetings, collating and preparing documents, and coordinating relevant activities
  • Organizing arrangements for meetings, including room setup and clearing
  • Booking and managing domestic and international travel and accommodation for the General Counsel and team members
  • Managing information and correspondence flow, processing requests, and updating records

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of administrative experience, technical skills, and a strong understanding of governance and compliance principles. They will be highly organized, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
