About the Role

The Restoration Technician will be involved in various restoration projects across QLD. This is a permanent full-time position with 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. You'll report to the QLD Operations Manager and work alongside experienced technicians. The role has the opportunity to grow into a more senior position as we expand within the state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Water/mold restoration (drying, remediation, strip-outs)
  • Fire restoration (cleaning, contents disposal)
  • Contents handling (assessment, remediation, inventory)
  • Maintaining vehicles, equipment, and consumables
  • Preparing detailed reports, including damage assessments and cost projections
  • Potential for regional and interstate travel during catastrophic events
  • Potential for after-hours and weekend work (with applicable rates)
Essential Requirements
  • Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
  • Current and valid ACT driver's license (manual)
  • Valid Police Check
  • A willingness to learn - no experience necessary
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work on-call/after-hours on a roster basis
  • Electronic reporting skills
Desirable
  • IICRC accreditations (Water/Mold/Fire)
  • Background/knowledge in building and contents restoration or cleaning/carpet cleaning
  • Experience driving a truck
  • Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check
Working Conditions
