We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Sales Leader to join our team at General Pants – Kotara.

As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, achieving KPI results, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for fashion, a strong understanding of our brands, and the ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Review store sales reports and create action plans with the Store Manager and team.
  • Hold yourself and team members accountable for their results through regular feedback.
  • Work with the Store Manager to create a store roster that optimizes team resources and meets customer demand.
  • Support efficient inventory management, including stocktakes and cycle counts.
  • Implement visual merchandising standards and assist with in-store activations.
  • Mentor and coach team members to help them grow and develop, celebrating their strengths and addressing areas for improvement.

About You:

  • At least 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail.
  • A genuine love and understanding of fashion and our brands.
  • The ability to lead, motivate, and engage a team environment.
  • Proven experience in coaching and developing teams and individuals.
  • A proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding targets.
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, including budgets, wages, rostering, visual merchandising, stock management, and shrinkage.
  • Full Australian working rights.
