Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Art Director to join our team at Nine Entertainment. As a key member of our creative department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our brands.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a design role, preferably in a media or advertising agency. A strong portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of design skills and experience in the media space is essential. You will be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects, as well as Figma.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing design concepts for various brands and mediums. You will work closely with the Group Creative Director, designers, project managers, and other departments to ensure that all visual elements align with each company's brand and messaging.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing design concepts for print and digital advertising, websites, social media, and branding;
  • Creating visually appealing design layouts, illustrations, and graphics that meet the company's overall aesthetic;
  • Generating clear ideas and concepts in tandem with copywriters;
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques to ensure designs are fresh and relevant;
  • Ensuring that all designs meet the company's brand guidelines;
  • Applying typography techniques;
  • Mentoring and managing designers;
  • Forging strong relationships with internal stakeholders to influence and mediate for optimal outcomes.

As a Lead Creative Visionary at Nine Entertainment, you can expect a salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team, stay ahead of the curve in the industry, and build a rewarding career.
