Job Title: Receiving Office Attendant

This role is part of our operations team at the Garden Recycling Centre in Ballarat, where we strive to create a productive and efficient work environment.

The Receiving Office plays a key part in our day-to-day activities, as it's where commercial vehicles and members of the public arrive. As an Office Attendant, you will be responsible for handling customer interactions, ensuring health and safety protocols are observed, and maintaining accurate records.

This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Determining the type and price of loads, and charging accordingly
  • Managing commercial loading and dumping operations using a weighbridge
  • Maintaining site cleanliness and tidiness
  • Providing exceptional customer service
