We are seeking a highly skilled Structures Inspector to conduct inspections during the construction of a major bridge upgrade.

The long-term contract will run for at least 12 months and be conveniently located near Brisbane, Toowoomba, or the Gold Coast with work hours approximately 45-50 per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake inspection functions, technical audits, and ensure contractors/suppliers follow processes and procedures.
  • Identify and interpret structural and material defects, making recommendations as needed.
  • Maintain and manage detailed records, preparing reports and providing administration, surveillance, and documentation recording.
  • Read, understand, and interpret technical documents, standards, and drawings to specifications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of practical experience in bridge or concrete construction.
  • Demonstrated expertise in bridge construction to specifications.
  • Certificate IV in Safety is highly regarded.
  • Certificate III in Bridge Construction is highly regarded.
