About the Position:

As a Senior Building Fire Safety Officer at Ivory Group, you will be responsible for managing Council's Fire Safety Statement program, investigating and resolving complaints/inquiries on fire safety protection issues, and representing Council in legal proceedings. You will also enforce safety and building standards. To succeed in this role, you will need qualifications in building surveying or a related discipline, accreditation as a Building Surveyor, and a Class C Drivers License. A working knowledge of the EPA and BCA is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Council's Fire Safety Statement program
  • Investigate and resolve complaints/inquiries on fire safety protection issues
  • Represent Council in legal proceedings
  • Enforce safety and building standards

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in building surveying or a related discipline
  • Accreditation as a Building Surveyor
  • Class C Drivers License
  • Working knowledge of the EPA and BCA
