Position Overview

In this casual role, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding care and assistance to our residents. Your duties will encompass a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the comfort, well-being, and dignity of those entrusted to our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting needs
  • Facilitating mobility and dexterity support
  • Helping with transfers and lifting using appropriate aids
  • Assisting with communication devices such as glasses and hearing aids
  • Managing clean laundry and clothing distribution
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment, utensils, and personal items
  • Providing transportation assistance for clients
  • Supporting clients with special requirements
  • Assisting with self-administration of medications
  • Helping with routine treatments and procedures

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to assist and collaborate with colleagues
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Competence in performing general tasks under supervision
  • Some experience with elderly, frail, or disabled individuals in community or healthcare settings
