Job Overview

The Regional Business Manager position offers a unique opportunity to lead the financial and administrative team, ensuring efficient and contemporary business management processes. The successful candidate will provide leadership and facilitate change in financial and business management.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Albany. The South Coast Region extends over 1,200 km and includes 14 national parks and 150 nature reserves.

The role requires preparation, monitoring and review of business and finance plans for regional activities, including trust funds, with timely financial data and reports.

  • Financial Management: Provide leadership and guidance on financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the financial and administrative team, promoting collaboration and innovation.
  • Business Process Improvement: Develop and implement efficient business processes, ensuring consistency and compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants should possess:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of financial and procurement management at a supervisory level.
  • Analytical, conceptual and organisational skills to compile and analyse financial information, data trends and reporting.
  • Leadership ability to work in a team, empower peers and champion change management.
  • Experience in using computer-based financial software.
