Job Description:We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our team as a Project Planning and Approvals Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for leading environmental assessment projects, securing major project approvals, and building high-performance teams. Your expertise will be crucial in driving business growth, innovation, and differentiation in the market.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead environmental assessment projects and related approvals management in support of clients' capital project delivery.
- Secure major project approvals for clients in the renewable (wind farms, solar, hydrogen etc), mining, infrastructure, and industrial space.
- Build, grow, and manage a high-performance team, serving as a leader and mentor to consultants.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- 15+ years of experience in environmental planning and approvals, impact assessment, working within WA and Commonwealth legislative requirements.
- High degree of technical competence in environmental planning and approvals, due diligence, land use planning, post-approval management, and broad knowledge of impact assessment best practices.
