Raytheon Australia is seeking qualified individuals to operate the Learjet 35A aircraft, contributing to critical airborne simulation and electronic warfare training for the Australian Defence Force.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a vital member of the flight crew for our specialized EW Learjet 35A aircraft.
- Support the Head of Operations in ensuring a secure and efficient working environment.
- Act as Deployment Commander on a rotational basis with fellow aircrew members.
- Assist in developing tactical operating procedures and standards for electronic warfare flight operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of a CASA Part 61 Commercial Pilot License (Aeroplane) and a valid CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Eligibility to obtain a current Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- Completion of CASA Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) training, Low Level Rating (Aeroplane), Formation Flying Flight Activity Endorsement (Aeroplane), and Instrument Rating (Multi Engine Aircraft with IAP 2D and IAP 3D).
- A minimum of 2000 hours total flight time, including 1000 hours as Pilot In Command (PIC) and 800 hours of turbine time.
- At least 6 years of flying experience in military aviation operations.
- Desirable: Military pilot fast jet experience equivalent to RAAF Introductory Fighter Course (IFC).
- Highly desirable: Ability to serve as alternate Head of Operations.
- Other CASA qualifications such as Flight Instructor or Flight Examiner are also advantageous.
