Hoist Electromechanic

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Hoist Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of the electro-hire equipment maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of hoisting equipment.

• Monitor and maintain hoist motor performance, completing scheduled servicing tasks to ensure all equipment operates at its best.
• Lead and guide team members in hoist maintenance, focusing on capability building and delivering quality results.
• Collaborate with rigging teams on installations and dismantles as required.

• Trade-qualified electrician or electrical fitter/mechanic (or equivalent).
• Hold a High-Risk Work Licence – Class HP for personnel and materials hoists (ideal not essential).
• Completion of CPCCLHS3001 – Licence to Operate a Personnel and Materials Hoist (ideal not essential).
• Previous experience servicing or operating cranes and hoists is highly desirable; a mechanical/engineering trades background is acceptable.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and resilience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
