Job Description

As a School of Trades Teacher, you will deliver hands-on training and lead classroom discussions. You will guide students through real-world scenarios to ensure they graduate job-ready.

Your practical skills and expertise will be invaluable in the classroom and workshop. You will mentor apprentices and deliver training that equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for success in the industry.

Salary and Benefits
  • Total Remuneration: $120,134 to $133,098 per annum (including salary of $101,515 to $112,470 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
  • Equivalent Hourly Rate: $53.66 to $59.46 per hour
  • No coal board medicals or site inductions
  • No night shifts or FIFO
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possession of a relevant qualification in electrical, instrumentation, engineering, or similar
  • Demonstrated current industry skills directly relevant to the training/assessment being delivered
  • Knowledge of the education and training sector and ability to positively respond to new directions and demands of the training market
