Precruitment Job DescriptionAbout the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Chef to lead our restaurant's kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Create and adjust menus based on seasonal ingredient availability and guest preferences.
  • Culinary Leadership: Manage the food preparation team and ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
  • Food Preparation: Cook food in a timely manner and ensure appealing plate presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor food stock levels and check the freshness of ingredients.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train the kitchen team, including Sous Chefs and other staff.
  • Time Scheduling: Create and manage the kitchen's time schedules and rostering for optimal staffing levels.
Requirements
  • Culinary Expertise: Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to remain calm and multi-task, with excellent time management skills.
  • Sanitation Knowledge: Familiarity with sanitation regulations.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of $70,000 to $80,000 per annum based on experience.
