The Role
As a Laboratory Assistant, you will conduct routine sample preparation and food testing, using manual, semi-automated, and fully automated techniques.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Preparing Microbiological media and standards
- Performing basic testing and sample preparation, utilising aseptic technique
- Assisting with writing and reviewing documentation
- Coordinating with internal clients
- Performing basic calibrations
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in Instrumental techniques is essential
- Understanding of test principles is required
- The ability to be an effective trainer
- Laboratory experience in food testing is preferred
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing and site inductions are required.
