Machine Learning Engineer for Advanced Data Solutions

We are seeking a skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, building and productionising proprietary machine learning models to solve different business challenges.

The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in both machine learning and software engineering, with experience working with engineering and product teams to architect machine learning solutions. You will also have the ability to collaborate closely with product managers to understand business priorities and frame machine learning problems.

We are looking for someone who can contribute to the high quality of our code base, maintain tests that provide a high level of functional coverage and non-functional aspects such as load testing, unit testing and integration testing. Additionally, you should be able to keep track of emerging tech and trends, research state-of-art deep learning models, prototype new modelling ideas and conduct offline and online experiments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building and productionising proprietary machine learning models
  • Collaborating closely with product managers and other engineers to understand business priorities and frame machine learning problems
  • Contributing to the high quality of the code base with tests that provide a high level of functional coverage and non-functional aspects
  • Keeping track of emerging tech and trends, researching state-of-art deep learning models and conducting offline and online experiments

Requirements include:

  • A Master's or PhD in Machine Learning
  • Extensive knowledge in and experience with Bayesian methods, Recommender systems, multi-task modelling, meta-learning, click through rate modelling or conversion rate modelling
  • 3+ years of industry experience in building production-grade machine learning systems with all aspects of model training, tuning, deploying, serving and monitoring
