Role Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join our team as a Disability Support Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact in the lives of young people with disabilities.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be working 1:1 with young clients, helping them build confidence and independence. The role involves supporting clients in various activities such as art, cooking, gardening, yoga, and wellness routines. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with young people and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

As a Disability Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to clients, developing and implementing personalized plans, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be required to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to young clients with disabilities

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification or experience in disability support or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing client needs
  • NSW P2 or full driver's license (required)
