About the Opportunity

SLR Consulting, a leading international environmental consultancy, is seeking an ambitious and innovative Acoustic Consultant to join our high-performing team in Sydney. As a key member of our Acoustics & Vibration team, you will work on high-profile and large-scale projects across the APAC region, utilizing your expertise in noise and vibration disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with local, national, and global teams to deliver projects and achieve desirable outcomes.
  • Conduct noise and vibration measurements, monitoring, and modeling, as well as numerical analysis and reporting.
  • Participate in project tasks, including client liaison, data management, and technical task execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field (postgraduate qualifications an advantage).
  • Up to 3 years of consulting experience, with a focus on noise measurement and monitoring, data processing, and analysis.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with experience in technical report writing.
  • Proficiency in GIS and coding, as well as experience with noise monitoring equipment and 3D computer noise models.
