Job Title: Electrical Fitter

Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Tradesperson to work in our electrical workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain low voltage and high voltage electrical rotating machinery with precision and finesse.
  • Assemble and disassemble electrical rotating equipment.
  • Conduct static and dynamic tests on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Rewind electric motors and generators.
  • Perform balancing on motors to keep things running smoothly.
  • Order parts as required to maintain timely delivery of goods.
  • Take direction from your Supervisor to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Attend onsite to conduct effective repairs of electrical rotating equipment when required.

Requirements:

  • Certification III in Electrotechnology or above / equivalent.
  • Experience in repairing and rewinding DC motors, medium to high voltage electrical motors, and generators.
  • Excellent time management skills to keep projects on track.
  • Strong teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively.
  • Dedication to maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
