Your Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide essential support to women affected by domestic and family violence. You'll work closely with clients at our site, assisting with intake, assessment, and day-to-day support needs. You will be at the forefront of helping women rebuild their lives in a safe and caring environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide empathetic, trauma-informed care and support, ensuring the dignity and rights of all clients are upheld
  • Collaborate with case management to implement tailored client case plans
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with daily operations of the accommodation service
  • Advocate for clients with external agencies as needed
  • Ensure support is in line with the Client Service Delivery Model (CSDM) and best practice standards
  • Operate in a safe and ethical manner, following WHS guidelines and upholding our commitment to safeguarding children and young people

You Will Need

  • To be female (this is a genuine occupational requirement under section 31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW))
  • A relevant Certificate or equivalent experience, or tertiary study in a related field
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sound judgment and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • An ethical, non-judgmental approach to supporting residents and staff
  • Willingness to work on a rotating roster, including day, afternoon, and sleepover shifts
