About the Role:
Job DescriptionThe Philanthropy Officer is responsible for leading a robust annual and regular giving program, fostering a culture of generosity and driving initiatives to meet philanthropic goals aligned with the University's strategic plan.
This includes spearheading fundraising campaigns and appeals within established parameters and timelines.
The role also involves managing a portfolio of donors, ensuring key performance indicators are met and identifying potential major gift donors who can make a transformative impact.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies.
- Manage donor relationships, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
- Develop and implement communication plans to engage alumni and stakeholders.
- Contribute to a dynamic team culture, participating in meetings and events while actively promoting the shared mission.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Proven experience in fundraising and relationship management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
