About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join ASIC's Business Partnering team as a Business Development Partner. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the team to deliver key priorities and projects in support of ASIC's People Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Business Partner team to assist in delivering key Business Partnering priorities and projects, including workforce management, onboarding, probation, performance development, case management, recruitment requests, and people analytics.
  • Create and collate data sets and present in an appropriate format.
  • Support the identification of areas for improvement and streamlining within the Business Partnering priorities in consultation with team members.
  • Ensure the ongoing development and maintenance of internal communication avenues and shared content, documentation libraries on behalf of the Business Partner team.
  • Provide accurate administration, coordination, and drafting of documentation as they relate to key P&D processes.
  • Provide administrative support and advice to the Business Partnering team during peak work volume periods and projects.

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong Advisory background who is looking for a next step towards becoming a Business Partner. This role will require demonstrated experience in providing policy and procedure advice, as well as low-level case management advice in performance and probationary issues.

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Human Resources or a related discipline preferred).
  • Practical experience in a generalist HR or HR operational role with a focus on stakeholder engagement, high-volume workload, people analytics, and process improvement and implementation.
  • Proven track record in researching and interpreting complex information.
  • Demonstrated ability to think laterally when problem-solving, critically when working with and interpreting data, and the ability to connect patterns and identify trends and risks.
  • Experience presenting information to different audiences through strong business writing and verbal communication with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to take a well-considered, forward-thinking, and planned approach, and respond with agility and flexibility to change.
  • Demonstrated, excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
  • A willingness to develop and stretch towards gaining more partnering capability.
  • Advanced IT and reporting skills - Advanced Excel required, experience with a HRIS is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting a business partner team in processing HR initiative processes or providing service in an HR Advisory function highly desirable.
