About Our Metal Fabrication Position:

Our trade contractor specializes in metalwork engineering, particularly fabrication and installation of balustrades, handrails, fencing, and gates for residential and commercial clients.

This role involves assisting the manufacturing process for metal balustrades and handrails - Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Mild Steel. Experience with Brass is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general fabrication tasks such as material cutting, grinding, drilling, and welding.
  • Prepare metal components and cut using band-saws/drop saws.
  • Read cutting lists accurately.
  • Operate traditional machinery effectively.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication drawings correctly.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with balustrades, handrails, or other metal works is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years TIG welding experience is required.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Good physical stamina is necessary.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are vital.
  • A friendly, positive, and enthusiastic attitude is expected.
