Key Education Role

We are seeking a passionate waste professional to join our team in delivering community education and initiatives related to waste management, minimisation and recycling.

The Role

You will develop and implement community education programs addressing various aspects of waste management and minimisation. This includes developing and delivering workshops, presentations and other educational materials to promote sustainable practices among the community.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in waste management or environmental education. You will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.

What We Offer

This is a permanent full-time position offering 70 hours per fortnight. You will also have access to a leaseback vehicle, hybrid working arrangements and extensive benefits including health and wellbeing paid leave and fitness passport program.

Requirements

  1. A degree in environmental science, sustainability or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience in waste management or environmental education.
  3. Class C drivers licence.

Desirable

  • Ability to speak a community language.
  • Project management and implementation skills.
