The Role

We are seeking a visionary leader to join our client's civil division as a Project Director. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior civil engineer to take on a leadership role and drive the growth and strategic direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading high-profile civil engineering projects from conception to completion
  • Developing and implementing project strategies to ensure successful delivery
  • Managing and mentoring a team of engineers and technicians
  • Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (MIEAust or FIEAust) registration
  • Chartered Engineer (CPEng) status or working towards it
  • 6-8 years of hands-on engineering design experience in a consultancy setting
  • Proven leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
