About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Software Developer - UI to join our Web Platform squad. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our web solutions using modern technologies such as TypeScript, AWS, and REA CI pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-quality software products using a variety of technologies and platforms.
- Build and maintain web applications that meet the needs of our users.
- Contribute to technical design and team practices.
- Participate in team huddles, kick-offs, and other team rituals.
- Write detailed GitHub issues and provide in-depth analysis of technical problems.
- Support production systems.
- Share knowledge and learnings with the team.
- Perform code reviews.
- Collaborate with others to solve complex problems.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Skills and/or interest in modern web technologies such as Node JS, TypeScript, Jest, React, styled-components, webpack, Buildkite, Docker, AWS, NewRelic, and Splunk.
- Experience in maintaining software with a major cloud provider, preferably AWS.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- A can-do attitude and a record of showing initiative.
