About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Habit Coach to join our team at Everyday Independence. As a Habit Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to develop greater independence and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement therapy plans provided by primary therapists to support participants in achieving their goals.
  • Work with participants across all ages and stages of life, supporting them in developing healthy habits and promoting independence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless support and coordination of services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with participants, their families, and caregivers to ensure effective communication and support.
Requirements
  • Studying a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year) or have completed a Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance or an equivalent qualification with demonstrated experience in a similar position.
  • Consistent and ongoing availability to work, with a minimum of two days per week available to support participants during their afternoon routines.
  • Ability to travel to regional and surrounding areas, with a valid Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children's Check.
