Job Title: Maintenance Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated maintenance assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues by maintaining compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and order parts and supplies while minimizing waste and promoting sustainability initiatives.
  • Assist with general repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the hotel, helping to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct minor repairs of non-gas or non-electrical kitchen equipment, air conditioning units, and plumbing systems.
Requirements:
  • Full working rights in Australia without restrictions.
  • Some experience in general building maintenance and/or construction, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hotel maintenance/engineering experience is preferred.
