**Warehouse Specialist Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for receiving, staging, and delivering merchandise to the appropriate department.

**Job Summary:**

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Receive and stage merchandise by department, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and efficient delivery processes.
  2. Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts, maintaining a safe and organized storage environment.
  3. Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, ensuring timely fulfillment of needs.
  4. Notify supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner, preventing delays and improving overall efficiency.

**Additional Responsibilities:**

  1. Inspect deliveries and verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality throughout case lots.
  2. Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items, protecting the organization's assets.
  3. Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators and freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains, maintaining a high level of hygiene.
  4. Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place them in proper storage areas, promoting a tidy work environment.

**Safety and Security:**

  1. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to supervisor; complete safety training and certifications.

**Qualifications:**

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Related Work Experience: 1+ years of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Supervisory Experience: None required.
  • License or Certification: Food Safety Certification preferred.
