Regional Family Violence Coordinator Role

Job Overview:

Grampians Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Family Violence Coordinator to lead the implementation and integration of the Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework (MARAM) across regional health services.

This role involves driving the adoption of a consistent, evidence-based family violence response framework across all partner health services. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in family violence practices.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering training and engaging diverse stakeholder groups. They should possess strong communication, consultation, and relationship management skills, as well as project management and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement MARAM Framework: Lead the implementation of the MARAM framework across all partner health services.
  • Embed Consistent Response Framework: Embed a consistent, evidence-based family violence response framework across all partner health services.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in family violence practices.
  • Deliver Training Initiatives: Deliver training and capability-building initiatives to support ongoing professional development aligned with MARAM.
  • Monitor Progress: Monitor, evaluate, and report on implementation progress, identifying risks and enabling adaptive strategies.
  • Represent Initiative: Represent the initiative at regional and state-wide forums and contribute to strategic planning and policy development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Training Delivery: Proven capability in delivering training and engaging diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of health and gender equity, intersectionality, and trauma-informed practice.
  • Communication Skills: Highly developed communication, consultation, and relationship management skills.
  • Project Management: Strong project management and reporting capabilities.
  • Multisite Experience: Demonstrated ability to work across multiple sites, both remotely and in person.
  • Travel Requirements: Current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel across the region.
