
Perioperative Healthcare Specialist

The role of an Anaesthetic Registered Nurse in a Perioperative team involves delivering high-standard patient care in a safe and effective manner.
This position encompasses various aspects of the entire patient surgical journey, requiring the maintenance and development of skills to care for patients according to level of competence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-standard patient care using appropriate resources cost-effectively.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provide patient education and act as a resource when necessary.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care through the continuum of care.
Requirements:
A registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) is required for Anaesthetic Registered Nurses. Well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills are also essential.
- Ability to monitor and evaluate patient care under supervision.
- Minimum 3 years working in a hospital environment with anaesthetic experience.

An attractive salary package includes a minimum of $79,755 - $102,048 per annum for Anaesthetic Registered Nurses, plus 12% superannuation.
- Permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week.
- Rotational roster working 6,8 and 10 hour shifts.
