About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Habit Coach to join our team at Everyday Independence in Launceston.
As a Habit Coach, you will work closely with our allied health professionals to support National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants in achieving their goals and improving their independence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing therapy plans provided by primary therapists
- Supporting participants in developing healthy habits and promoting independence
- Working in a collaborative environment with our interdisciplinary team
Requirements
- Studying a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year)
- Alternatively, completed a Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance or an equivalent qualification with demonstrated experience
- Consistent and ongoing availability to work, including minimum two days a week to support participants during their afternoon routines
- Valid Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle
- NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children's Check
