Job Title: Music Educator

Job Summary:

Ravenswood School For Girls is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Music Educator to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of teaching Music, experience with Kodály methodology, strong ICT skills, and an ability to differentiate in the delivery of curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Music to students in Junior School, K-6
• Develop and implement engaging Music lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver Music programs
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Participate in co-curricular Music ensembles and performances

Requirements:

• Qualification in Education and registration with NESA
• Experience teaching Junior School Music, K-6
• Knowledge and understanding of the curriculum and requirements
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience teaching Music in Years 7 and 8
• Ability to play piano and guitar/ukulele
