About the Job:

As a Catering Supervisor at Spotless, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial kitchen. Your responsibilities will include supervising Catering Assistants, coordinating with Chefs/Head Chefs, and maintaining compliance with HACCP Food Safety Plan.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise Catering Assistants to maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation in service areas.
  • Collaborate with Chefs/Head Chefs to ensure catering assistants meet production targets and maintain a consistent supply of food.
  • Monitor and evaluate food safety standards and practices, maintaining accurate records and completing Food Safety Documentation on time.
  • Maintain and repair kitchen equipment according to safe work procedures, ensuring they remain in a clean and safe condition.
  • Participate in food stock takes and audit procedures as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Cert II – Kitchen Operations or higher.
  • Valid Food Safety Certificates.
  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
  • Sound understanding of HACCP Food Safety guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
