Are you passionate about Cyber Security? Do you want to make a real impact in protecting our digital world? Look no further We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to contribute their technical expertise and knowledge to help us stay ahead of the latest cyber security threats. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for:
  1. Conducting research and analysis to identify current and emerging cyber security risks and trends;
  2. Developing best practice advice on cyber security strategies, programs, and policies across government;
  3. Creating guidance that proactively supports departments, agencies, and local councils in building cyber resilience;
  4. Identifying, interpreting, and analysing data using statistical techniques to identify trends and patterns in data sets; and
  5. Producing reports and recommendations to advise senior leaders on supporting cyber security initiatives and service delivery.

In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to build and maintain productive relationships and ensure that our cyber security guidance aligns with their needs. You will also have the opportunity to:
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals;
  • Proactively manage your own workload and tasks to meet deadlines;
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate technical information to a wide range of stakeholders;
  • Become adept at building and maintaining stakeholder relationships and presenting insights for strategic decision-making;
  • Possess data visualisation skills for creating interactive dashboards and reports;
  • Have experience with Jira and Confluence administration and Salesforce CRM; and
  • Undertake basic risk management activities.

We are looking for someone who has:
  • A strong background in cyber security or related field;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively; and
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
