About the Role:

In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the development and improvement of Daikin's innovative HVAC systems, contributing to the company's ongoing success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of advanced HVAC systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design solutions.
  • Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of HVAC prototypes, analysing performance data to optimise designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to inform your design decisions.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing your expertise to foster their professional development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Daikin's HVAC products and processes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC system design and development.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex HVAC projects from concept to deployment.
  • Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in CAD software, heat transfer analysis, and fluid dynamics.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify and resolve design challenges.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present your work to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and certifications relevant to HVAC systems.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring junior engineers.
