Job Title: Skilled Healthcare Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Healthcare Professional to join our team at a reputable hospital in Victoria. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our anaesthetics department.

This hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Victoria, serving over 1.2 million people across Melbourne's east and outer east. Our hospital features 15 theatres, including a hybrid theatre, diagnostic cardiology, two cardiac cath labs, and capabilities for cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, urology, and more.

In this role, you will work closely with a talented team of surgeons, specialist doctors, and dedicated healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional patient care and support during surgical procedures
  • Collaborating with the anaesthetics team to ensure safe and effective delivery of anaesthesia
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues and patients
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and education to enhance your skills and knowledge

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years' post-registration experience in acute care
  • Current APHRA registration
  • A Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Motivation to develop your career in theatres
  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
