About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Lead to join our team at NCS Australia. As a Sales Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase market share and revenue across our federal government accounts.

You will partner with our clients throughout their digital transformation journey, positioning NCS as a trusted advisor. Your key responsibilities will include building and fostering relationships with C-level executives, crafting compelling sales proposals and tender responses, and helping the broader team exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and revenue across federal government accounts
  • Partner with clients throughout their digital transformation journey, positioning NCS as a trusted advisor
  • Build and foster relationships with C-level executives
  • Craft compelling sales proposals and tender responses
  • Help the broader team exceed targets
  • Perfect skills alongside a talented and collaborative team

Requirements
  • A strong background in business development within Federal Government
  • Previous experience in a similar role leading and building a portfolio of clients for a tech consultancy, systems integrator or professional services firm
  • A proven track record in originating and closing large multi-million dollar deals
  • An expert in consultative and solution sales
  • A strong background in sales with a strong network of C level government and large enterprise contacts
  • Extensive experience selling solutions and services in cloud, digital transformation, application modernisation, data and AI
  • A strong leader that can mentor, guide and motivate
  • The ability to drive complex bids, RFP and RFQ's
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport across various levels
  • The ability to build relationships within a complex enterprise and government clients
  • A passionate self-starter with a collaborative attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills driven by sales success
  • A consultative approach with the ability to have value-led conversations
