City Beach is seeking a professional to join our store management team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles and be skilled in driving sales and operations to meet targets. They will also possess strong communication and team management skills.

Job Description:

This role involves working under the guidance of an experienced store leadership team to gain practical experience and skills needed for a leadership position. The program is comprehensive, combining theoretical, practical, and hands-on on-the-job training to ensure the individual has the necessary tools to begin a successful management career.

Responsibilities:

  • Reinforce the customer-centric nature of City Beach by providing a superior people experience through a supportive and developmentally focused environment.
  • Lead the store team to deliver on performance objectives set for the store, working closely with the store leadership.
  • Contribute to all aspects of store operations, including managing and leading the store team, ensuring the stores are open and ready to be shopped by customers, and managing the movement of stock to reduce shrinkage and optimize sales.
  • Ensure operational tasks and expectations set for the team are executed to standards and support the leadership team with team member performance.
  • Work with store leadership to manage wages to achieve profitability, operational efficiencies, and great customer experiences.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership, ensuring all store team members receive required feedback, support, and training.
  • Understand Workplace Health and Safety regulations and manage the workplace and team members to ensure City Beach is a safe place to work.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a customer-service based management role, preferably in a fast-paced Retail, FMCG or Hospitality environment.
  • Demonstrated experience driving sales and operations to meet targets and metrics.
  • Strong communication and team management skills.
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to store operations.
