The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Glad Group, working with Australia's most recognisable brands and clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out general electrical installations and maintenance work.
  • Conducting emergency and exit light testing.
  • Performing RCD testing and ensuring all electrical equipment is safe and functional.
  • Liaising with clients to meet their needs and providing quotations for service repairs.
  • Managing procurement and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
  • Undertaking all aspects of the electrical trade, including reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
  • Testing for, locating, and repairing electrical malfunctions.
  • Installing electrical and electronic control systems.
  • Assembling electrical and electronic components and appliances.
  • Connecting electrical equipment to power supplies.
  • Installing insulated cables and connecting switches, outlets, and other fittings.
  • Removing and replacing light tubes and globes.
  • Providing completed paperwork daily, including signed work orders, purchase orders, and risk assessments.
  • Being available for 24/7 call-outs for emergency breakdowns.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current valid White Card.
  • A current valid driver's licence.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Basic maths and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliability and self-motivation.
  • The ability to work as a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
