Civil Design Expert

We are seeking a seasoned civil design professional to join our collaborative and multidisciplinary team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering detailed civil designs using 12D, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D, as well as creating 3D visualisations and rendered images/movies.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in civil design and drafting, proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D, and/or Civil 3D, and experience in mining or land development earthworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Delivery: Deliver high-quality civil designs using 12D, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
  • Visualisation: Create 3D visualisations and rendered images/movies to communicate design intent.
  • Engineering Drawings: Prepare engineering drawings aligned with KCB standards.
  • Project Support: Support construction projects with site inspections and design updates.
  • GIS Collaboration: Collaborate with GIS teams and provide CAD data in GIS format.
  • Project Involvement: Contribute to projects involving tailings dams, haul roads, closure landforms, and more.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years' experience in civil design and drafting.
  • Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D, and/or Civil 3D.
  • Background: Experience in mining or land development earthworks.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with Pix4D, GIS, or MUK3D is a plus.
  • Qualification: Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
