Quality Assurance Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance professional to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with third-party suppliers to ensure high-quality products;
  • Monitor and assess product quality indicators and performance to identify potential problems;
  • Prepare and maintain quality agreements with contractors to ensure all responsibilities are clearly stated;
  • Attend training sessions and encourage a culture of quality among staff;
  • Review deviations from third-party manufacturers and agree on disposition decisions;
  • Investigate customer complaints and determine suitable responses;
  • Assess contractor change controls and review quality documents for adequacy and completeness;
  • Perform internal and external audits as specified by QA Manager;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in science or engineering;
  • 5-7 years' experience in the pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing industry;
  • Understanding of chemical and microbiological test processes used in the pharmaceutical industry;
  • Understanding of marketing authorization processes in Australia and New Zealand;
  • Ability to create meaningful relationships with a broad range of people;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and able to learn new software applications;
