Role Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Engineer to join our team to deliver land development projects with a focus on residential greenfield, urban regeneration, industrial, roads, public infrastructure, and water projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will primarily include:

  • Providing technical advice to project team members and resolving construction issues as they are encountered;
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders such as Clients, Contractors, Project Managers, and Authorities;
  • Making valuable contributions to our projects through innovation and technical solutions;

Technical Requirements:

  • You will work closely with the project team to deliver high-quality construction phase services, including production of Bill of Quantities, tender and construction documents, construction supervision, site inspections, site meetings, and contract administration;
  • You will be responsible for conducting site feasibility studies and preparing preliminary civil design and construction cost estimates for prospective land development sites;
  • You will also be required to provide Safety in Design assessments and reporting, and deliver high-quality design documentation in accordance with the program, budget, specifications, and approved standards and requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree, with 5-8 years of experience in Australian urban development projects, working in Australia with exposure to residential and/or industrial subdivisions.

Experience with SEQ Councils and water authorities is highly advantageous. You should possess strong communication, program management, and report writing skills, as well as excellent client-focus and a sound technical know-how.

The salary for this role is approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
