Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development and maintenance of our Microservices platform.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and support resilient, secure solutions that provide customer value through efficient and scalable microservices architecture.
  • Mentor junior engineers, perform peer code reviews, and contribute to coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, project managers, vendors, and contractors to design, build, and deploy new solutions or enhancements to existing ones.
  • Assist with planning and execution of unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Interpret business requirements to determine the solution required to implement new functionality, focusing on delivering tangible business value.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong background in microservices design and development, with at least 4 years of experience.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Expertise in Java development, including Spring Boot & microservices architecture, as well as REST APIs, Spring Cloud, JPA-Hibernate, and Maven/Gradle.
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.
  • Experience working with SQL-NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL.
  • Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
