Job Summary

The NSW Health organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our team at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. As a Senior Outpatient Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to consumers following orthopedic surgeries and musculoskeletal injuries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of physiotherapists in the outpatient department
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex orthopedic conditions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct supervision and training for junior physiotherapists
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and project implementation

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
