About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Casual Practice Nurse to join our team at For Health Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Health Assessments: Conduct thorough health assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
- Vaccination Administration: Administer vaccines and medications as prescribed by our General Practitioners.
- Post-Vaccination Monitoring: Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate care and support.
- Triage and Prioritization: Triage patients and prioritize emergency situations to ensure timely and effective care.
- Assisting General Practitioners: Assist our General Practitioners with minor procedures and provide support with patient care.
- Clinical Data Management: Coordinate, manage, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient clinical data.
- Wound Care and Suturing: Provide wound care and removal of sutures as required.
- Health Education and Coaching: Educate and coach patients on healthy lifestyle choices and disease management.
Requirements
- AHPRA Enrolled
- Proven experience in General Practice or an acute setting
- Knowledge of Health Assessment is highly regarded
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- A passion for people and a personable approach
