A career-defining role has become available for an experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant in the esteemed Wills & Estates team of a renowned commercial law firm in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 1 year+ experience working as a secretary/paralegal/law clerk in wills/estates law and be eager to specialize in this field. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with high-quality clients, learn from industry-leading specialists, and enjoy a refreshing down-to-earth culture.

As a valued member of the team, you will primarily support the HEAD senior lawyer, an Accredited Specialist in Succession Law, and assist other succession lawyers with various tasks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising directly with clients, barristers, solicitors, and third parties;
  • Active involvement in day-to-day client file management;
  • Preparing and typing legal/court documents/correspondence;
  • Conducting legal research and performing ASIC, property, and Probate searches;
  • Preparing briefs to barristers and managing diaries;
  • Assisting with bills/invoices and engaging in ad hoc projects and general administration.

This stimulating and challenging role offers a competitive salary range of $55,000-$80,000, depending on experience, and flexible working arrangements, including full-time or 4 days per week.
