Job Overview

This is a permanent full-time position commencing in the future.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader who will genuinely value, support, and empower team members to make a difference. The Chief Operations Officer is a key leadership position embedded in a culture of collaboration, respect, and growth.

The role involves managing financial, physical, and human resources. This may include finance, budgeting and procurement, building and assets, including information and communication technology (ICT) and recruitment, selection and induction. Experience with promotions, public relations and school administration would be ideal.

Main Responsibilities
  • Managing staff performance and development
  • Working with the Executive Leadership Team to strategically manage and lead change
  • Supporting and progressing strategic priority areas
  • Ensuring administrative processes are compliant with relevant legislation and policy guidelines
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in delivering business outcomes and sound customer service principles and practices
  • Demonstrated well-developed oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to use effective negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated sound financial management skills, including budget preparation and the ability to interpret and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures
  • Demonstrated sound human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and/or apply human resource management practices and systems
  • Demonstrated ability to provide input into the development, implementation and monitoring of business and marketing plans
  • Demonstrated sound conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
