About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Wilmar Sugar Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on a variety of equipment, including pumps, crushing mills, and turbines.

Main duties include:

  • Conducting safe and quality work
  • Identifying potential improvements to work practices and conditions
  • Supporting improvement projects to reduce unplanned stoppages
  • Mentoring apprentices as required
  • Maintaining and improving OH&S and operational standards

Essential Criteria:

  • Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting) or equivalent
  • Previous Heavy Industrial work history highly regarded
