Facilities Manager / Building Consultant

We are seeking a full-time experienced Facilities Manager / Building Consultant for career progression within a highly reputable company.

The role involves managing a portfolio of buildings, administering maintenance data and schedules, and ensuring statutory compliance. You will also have the opportunity to provide relevant reporting for internal and external stakeholders and their portfolios.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Preventative and reactive hard and soft services maintenance
  • Management of maintenance data and schedules
  • Manage all maintenance matters and maintain log books, registers etc.
  • Manage all Facility building data, plans etc
  • Ensure statutory compliance
  • Sub-contractor management
  • Ensure all sub-contract information is up-to-date and accurate
  • Manage filing and archiving systems
  • Attend site inspections and Body Corporate meetings (as required)

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Safety Compliance Reporting
  • Fire Safety Compliance Reporting
  • Fire Safety Advisor
  • Inner-city travel is required
About This Role

To be successful in this busy role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar position
  • High level of organisational ability with an eye for detail
  • Excellent prioritisation, and time management skills ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Ability to communicate professionally with both external and internal customers and suppliers (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent computer literacy within Microsoft Office
  • Ability to quickly learn in-house databases
  • Project Management experience (preferred)
  • Certificate VI in WH&S (preferred)
  • FSA certified (preferred)
  • Own vehicle desirable
